The addresses for the open houses are now live, visible to everyone logged into the (national) Sustainable House Day site. PLEASE NOTE THAT SKYFARM, WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY LISTED AS MULLUMBIMBY IS IN WILSON'S CREEK.
If you've registered previously, you simply need to log in and start "favouriting" the houses you want to attend and your tour will mapped for you when you click on "my favourites".
Open Homes Day provides a great opportunity for hundreds of people to visit some of the Northern Rivers' leading green homes – ones that are not only environmentally friendly, but cheaper to run and more comfortable to live in.
This day gives you a chance to inspect houses that have been designed, built or renovated with sustainability in mind as well as the opportunity to talk to owners and receive unbiased advice.
There are lots of great homes to see across the border in Queensland, including Spurtopia, home to one of our workshop presenters Roman Spur and his family.
The Sustainable House Day Partners Collaboration is made up of a passionate group of people, representing key sustainability organsations with a strong interest in promoting and facilitating sustainable and socially inclusive home design, building and living in the Northern Rivers. The event is coordinated by Andia Cally.
